December 28 Closure

Due to snow, icy roadways, and inaccessible bus stops, Twin Transit service will not operate on Tuesday, December 28.

DARTT and LIFTT services have also been suspended.

December 28 Service Delay

Twin Transit fixed routes are tentatively scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 28, 2021. This delayed start time will allow Twin Transit staff to assess weather, roads and bus stops in order to ensure the safety of our passengers, staff and equipment. Certain routes and stops may be closed or deviated to accommodate for snow and ice.

There will be no Olympia service on December 28.

DARTT and LIFTT services have also been suspended.

December 27 Closure

Due to snow, impassable roadways and inaccessible bus stops, Twin Transit service will be closed on Monday, December 27.

DARTT and LIFTT services have also been suspended.

An announcement concerning December 28th service will be made at 5:00 p.m. today. Please continue to monitor TwinTransit.org for additional updates.

Dec. 26 Service Closure and Dec. 27 Delay

Due to snow and impassable road conditions, Twin Transit fixed route service will be closed on Sunday, December 26, effective immediately.

On Monday, December 27, Twin Transit fixed route service will start at 9:00 a.m., to allow time for weather and road condition assessment. There will be no Green Line service to Olympia.

Dec. 26 Service Update

Due to snow and impassable road conditions, Twin Transit will not be able to serve:

  • The Logan District
  • Gold & Maple Stop
  • Scammon Creek and Woodland Estates
  • Hospital area

Twin Transit fixed route service will start at 8:00 a.m. due to inclement weather and poor road conditions.

Inclement Weather Notice

Snow and freezing temperatures are currently predicted for Lewis County from Saturday, December 25 through Saturday, January 1. Inclement weather may impact routes, delay, or cancel service during this time.

Twin Transit is monitoring the situation and will update TwinTransit.org as more information becomes available.

2021 Twin Transit Holiday Lights Tour

The Holiday season is here and the Christmas lights are aglow! Join Twin Transit’s annual Holiday Lights Tour for a bus ride through the Borst Park Drive-Thru Light Display!!

Holiday Lights Tours are available on:  

  • Tuesday, December 7th
  • Thursday, December 9th
  • Tuesday, December 14th
  • Thursday, December 16th
  • Tuesday, December 21st
  • Thursday, December 23rd

Tours start at 5:00 p.m. and last for one hour.

This event is reservation-only. To book your spot, please call 360-623-1985 or complete the request form below by at least 12:00 p.m. the previous day.

Please note, your reservation is not complete until you have received phone or email confirmation from Twin Transit.

Fixed Route Fare Free

Twin Transit fixed route service will be fare-free through July 1, 2022. Passengers are asked to board and exit the bus from the back door during this time. This will help reduce potential contact points and protect passengers, drivers, and staff.
